Ana has been writing her own material since 2015. She started by writing short plays and then went on to produce her first full-length play 'The Castilla Sisters'. At the same time, she started writing spoken word and was commissioned by the Latin American variety night Barrio to write a few pieces that were performed at Southwark Playhouse. She also wrote and starred in her first short film ‘The Box’, a comedy about the lack of Latin American representation in the UK, and her second short film ‘Hermanos’ is now in post-production. She's currently working on her first feature film.

“Ana Torre’s dual monologue in the police station evoked many emotions as she acted the role of perpetrator and victim. The corrupt sleazy police officer offering to do his job properly if she would “help him” as he suggestively strokes her hair before kissing her was performed with conviction.”
